Anyone that knows me, knows that I am voracious reader - ebooks, paperbacks, hard covers... even audio (for my walks). That being said, it only made sense that I share some of my current favourites.
Some are food and wine related, while others are more slanted towards personal development. Why the latter? Well, I've come to realize that a lot of people feel (felt?) like me when it comes to my culinary prowess. I was always curious to discover new recipes, techniques and tools (ergo, this website), but my confidence wasn't always there - some days, it's still non-existent.
What has helped me tremendously is sitting down and spending at least 10 minutes a day with my nose in a good book (my reading time is in the morning before I start my day, but that's another topic). Yes, a lot of the books deal directly with food and wine, but those that have truly opened me up to this world have been, at first blush, seemingly unrelated. Once I dove in, however, there was always some nugget, some thread that proved helpful.
I hope the same happens to you. Keep coming back to this link as it's always growing.
